Introduction

On July 27, 2017, at the Highland Lakes Women's Democratic Luncheon, Jennie Lou Leeder announced her run for U.S. Congress, District 11.  Ms. Leeder is an educator, a busineswoman, a coach, and has been active in local politics since 2007 as Democratic County Chair for Llano County.  In 2014, she was elected Senate District 24 Chairwoman and served on the Rural Subcommittee, Urban County Subcommittee, and the Legislative Committee.

Jennie Lou Leeder knows what it means to be Texas strong, and she knows the meaning of Texas values. She will not be beholden to special interests or corporate financiers. Jennie Lou Leeder will put the future of our country before all else,  especially on the issues of Healthcare, Education, Infrastructure,  Energy, and National Safety.
